Nurturing attachment and security
Introducing PlayNest – for children aged between 6 to 18 months – this is where we introduce the importance of family support at the start of a child’s journey of learning and discovery in a safe, clean environment. A sense of security is primary to a child’s enjoyment of discovery and learning: that is why PlayNest is created as a programme for both adult and child.
In PlayNest, our students will:
Develop social skills through meaningful interactions with teachers, parents and puppets
Stimulate imagination, sounds, rhythms and spoken words by exposing children to age-appropriate language, stories and music through our specially created Story Time and Music Time series
Build sensory abilities through fun art & craft and discovery activities
Exercise gross motor coordination and develop sense of balance and spatial awareness through gross motor play activities
Gain appreciation for foods and eating together: learn the social skills of eating with others while developing a taste for a variety of healthy food.
Fostering self-control and autonomy
Welcome to the joys of learning through PlayClub – one of Julia Gabriel’s most sought-after programmes by parents and children alike! PlayClub is a bridge between home and school, offering a stimulating and highly enjoyable programme that offers good language models. Our theme-based curriculum is structured around child-centred themes through activities such as indoor and outdoor play, music, art and craft, hands-on pre-science activities, stories, speech, drama and snacks, as well as letters of the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colours.
In PlayClub our students will:
Engage in hands-on activities and interact in different environments with PlayClub’s MagicBox Time and our unique Alphabet Zoo puppets to work on hand-eye co-ordination and enhance their sensory and aesthetic awareness
Relate and make sense of real-life experiences with our much-loved PlayClub Bears – a Julia Gabriel specialty
Learn the social skills of eating together: practise turn-taking, social rituals of dining with peers, be exposed to different types of food during Snack Time
Express themselves naturally in the form of music, movement and dance
